Message attributes templates are groups of attribute-value pairs. Templates are a way to share and reuse standard and custom attributes. Attribute is the term for metadata used within Activator.
Message attributes templates can be used for:
Templates are global objects. They do not belong to a community, a partner or a WebTrader. After a template is changed, the changes affect all objects associated with it. For example, a template named foo is associated with an integration pickup exchange and a message handler action. The template contains four attribute-value pairs, but has been changed to contain five pairs. The updated template affects the delivery exchange and the message handler action.
